Biorhythmic Music

Last Updated: 2 July 2009

Before and during sedation biorhythmic music can play a major part in a patient’s ability to manage stress.  The 60 beat a minute rhythm entrains with the brain resulting in a decreased catecholamine release creating coherence between the brain and the heart.  The outcome is a calmer more corporative patient which results in fewer intraoperative and post operative problems.
